VALENTINES DAY
Well I didnt have a Valentine this year... but you can always still have something youve been wishing for come true. So the day started out with me hating work... ahhh working all these hrs sucked... so then i went and ate icecream with Sal... now as i was sleeping Lance rang!!! I should add in right now.. BHODI YOU ARE NOT TAKING SARAH TO THE MOVIES>>> OVER MY DEAD BODY>>>> anyways i was pretty excited cause i had wanted to get to know Lance better and i enjoy spending time with him... so i went and chatted to him most that evening... :)
Anyway one of the convo i had that day had me debating about Valentines... I have always considered Valentines to be a time of 'wooing'. A day to renew your love for someone or to tell someone the truth about what you feel. Altho it seems to be a day for those who are single to be sad and depressed about the state of their singledom. OR going the other way by celebrating it. I really think that is untrue to what Valentines is... Maybe i should research... my understanding is it is a romantic day in which you have the opportunity to declare love for someone you have been looking at or celebrate the love you have... FOr all us singles... who have noone to declare undying love too... its just another day... I see no reason to be depressed by this. I think maybe it is an opportunity to be in love....

meh,
valentines day can eat me.. I celebrate my singledom and at the same moment hate it every day.. so really, meh.. it's a hallmark holiday and there are better days in the year that come through by pure circumstance that do the job quite admirably.
